We understand that you became a caregiver to provide compassionate care and to assist patients in living their lives to the fullest. To contribute to your success as a caregiver, we provide a software platform that you will use to document changes in patient behavior, request advanced clinical and/or medical support, and suggest new ways of providing better outcomes for the patient.
I want to say thank you to you and your staff. During the time that my mom was a client of Vision Homecare was wonderful experience for all of us. Vision became part of my family, not the crazy cousins but the upstanding, caring, and loving part of a family that makes you grow into a better person. Thank you to all.
Kate started with Vision in 2015, with the hopes of making a better home care experience for client’s and their families. Home care is more than just someone coming into a client’s home to help with daily tasks. It’s about building a personal relationship with the client’s while maintaining their dignity and independence.
Prior to joining the Vision team, Kate worked in nursing field for over 12yrs. Her experience includes sub-acute care, nursing homes, working with adults and children with physical and intellectual deficits, and finally home care. Kate has spent the last 8 years in home care, whether working as a shift nurse giving hands on care, or in the director capacity, educating and guiding aides and nurses on delivering the best care possible. Home care has been the most rewarding experience a nurse could ask for, as client’s have a better quality of life in their own homes than in a facility.
Kate continues to strive toward providing compassionate care with Vision, with the support of her husband and daughter.
Robert founded Vision Healthcare in 2004 as a Nurse Staffing Agency for local hospitals and nursing homes. After a few years of Staffing, Robert quickly started to realize that his staff was getting burnt out working long arduous shifts in the nursing homes and hospitals and needed another option.
In 2007, Robert opened Vision Homecare Services with one thought in mind. It was to provide top-shelf, in-home, care to those in need. At the same time, he wanted to provide his current Staffing nurses an option to work one-on-one with patients and avoid the stresses of working with multiple patients in the hospital and nursing home setting.
“To be able to provide one-on-one care and see the effects it has on an individual was truly addicting to me. It was extremely satisfying and something I wanted to do over and over.”
Since 2007, Vision Homecare Services has become a leading provider of In Home Health Care throughout Hudson Valley, Bronx and Long Island. . Vision has also been fortunate to employ some of the finest minds in Home Health Care. This, combined with the company’s cutting-edge technology, makes Vision above all the rest when it comes to quality in the home care field.
Prior to Vision, Robert graduated from Pace University with a degree in Business Administration and he worked as a coordinator at one of the largest nurse staffing agencies in America where he developed offices throughout Westchester County.
Robert enjoys being with his two sons, coaching his 11-year old’s soccer team and playing golf with friends.
Matt graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering. After finishing college and working a few odd jobs, Matt realized his love for Healthcare and decided to move to Austin, Texas to begin his career in Homecare. Matt started off working for one of the largest providers of Pediatric Homecare in the nation. He was able to gain invaluable experience working in both a small office and large corporate environment. Within this organization, Matt moved up to Boston, MA to help refine the Homecare program across Massachusetts. There Matt was able to work with pediatric hospitals and facilities as well as begin to build his knowledge of private duty nursing and Homecare for an adult population. Holding different positions such as Client Relations Director, Regional Director of Recruiting and Executive Director, Matt began to fully understand the importance of homecare for families in need across the nation and decided to bring his knowledge back home to Long Island, NY.
After returning to New York, Matt worked with different agencies across Long Island and NYC. Now with almost 6 years of experience, he is using his knowledge to help create much needed reform and innovation in the Homecare world. With the help of Vision and the team, Matt hopes to see this dream become a reality.
My journey to Vision Homecare is a little different and more personal than most. I started with Vision in November of 2013. At the current time I was an investment banker thinking I loved my job. At home we had a caregiver from Vision taking care of my grandfather for a few years, I saw how caring and loyal the caregivers were to him and the way they spoke about the company they worked for. That intrigued me find out more, that is when I met with the owners of Vision about coming on board with them to help grow the business and the market for the area that I grew up in. Since that day I have never looked back or questioned my reasoning for joining this company. Caring for other’s families is what we teach, live, and breathe as a culture.
