When you or a loved one needs home health care, the last thing you want to worry about is how you’ll pay for it. At Vision Healthcare Service we’ll work with you to determine your specific coverage and help you access the care that’s needed. We accept a variety of payment options for New Yorkers. Following are some of the ways you may be able to pay for our services:
A program funded by federal and state governments, primarily for those with limited resources and income
- Private health insurance:
employer-sponsored as well as individually-purchased insurance, managed care programs, and long-term care insurance
- Private pay/out-of-pocket:
using your own money to pay for services
- Charitable Care:
for those in need of care with no resources and who don’t qualify for other programs
- Workers’ Compensation:
If you or a loved one has been injured on the job, workers’ compensation can help pay for medically necessary in-home treatment and care of your injuries. Vision Healthcare Services works to ensure that you receive proper care in order to achieve the best possible outcomes and promote a safe return to work.
- Veterans Aid:
The Veterans Aid and Attendance program, provided by the Veterans Administration, offers benefits for veterans and surviving spouses who require assistance with daily living activities. Vision Healthcare Services is able to work with patients and their families to verify eligibility of pension benefits from the Veterans Administration.
Please note that Medicare and Medicaid have precise criteria that must be met for eligibility, and that there may be limits to what they and private insurance companies will cover.
